About
I'm just a multimedia guy.

Thank you for visiting my site.
Communication is my passion. I love exploring the endless options for story telling--assembling a collection of photos/video/words or finding that single image that contextualizes an event or moves someone to understand the world just a little bit better.
I presently work at KCUR Public Media -- NPR in Kansas City as a Media Production I Director.
I possess a broad range of media experience from newspaper photography and writing to video production, radio broadcast, blogging, some graphic design, some and web design.
I've taught writing, photography, journalism, and communication courses at Eastern New Mexico University, Arizona Western College, and The University of Missouri-Kansas City. I taught English Language Arts for two years at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic High School in Lee's Summit.
